St Cadoc's Church

The significance of this already important medieval church of St Cadoc’s at Llancarfan grew massively when routine works uncovered evidence of 15th century wall paintings.

Coe stone were appointed when the survey work being carried out in the first phase raised concerns about the stability of the west window. The conservation brief involved working closely with the wall painting conservators to delivery sympathetic consolidation of the tracery. Great importance was placed on minimising vibrations and dust whilst working to tight time constraints.

Coe Stone Ltd are very proud to have been involved in this internationally significant project.
